Football Camp Coaches

Marvin Sapp
Marvin Sapp played linebacker at the top-ranked Bolles School college prep in Jacksonville, FL, playing in two state championships and earning Florida-Times Union "Super 11" and Defensive Player of the Year honors. In college, Marvin was a scholarship athlete at the University of South Carolina where he played outside and inside linebacker on the 3rd ranked defense in the NCAA. Coached by Steve Spurrier, Sapp finished his college career as a four-year letterman with the 3rd highest tackles on defense.

Evan Ruffner
Evan Ruffner is the Head JV football Coach at Yorktown high school. He is also the wide receivers and running backs coach on Varsity staff. Coach Ruffner designed and runs The Strength and Conditioning program as well. During the day for the past 14 years, he teaches math and special education at Yorktown.

Isaiah Dunn
Isaiah Dunn, Raleigh native is a former college football player who competed as an offensive lineman at Wingate University. A standout athlete from an early age, he attended Knightdale High School in Raleigh, NC, where he was a four-year varsity starter, earning both Academic All-Conference and All-Conference honors. His love for football began at the age of four, fueling his dedication to the sport. Now, he is passionate about inspiring the next generation, encouraging young athletes to push beyond their limits and achieve even greater success than he did.

Elmore Hempstead
Elmore Hempstead, from Arkansas, started playing sports at age 5. In high school, he excelled in football, leading to his recognition as a 2-time All-American cornerback at Fort Scott Community College. He then played for the University of Kansas Jayhawks. Beyond playing, Elmore has been active in coaching and mentoring young athletes, sharing his expertise and passion for the game. His involvement in community events and youth programs highlights his dedication to inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Gary "Doc" Basil
Gary "Doc" Basil is native to the Vienna area and has participated in sports from a young age. He has many years of football experience as both a player and coach. He was a first team all metropolitan running back for Madison High School and was a 3 year starting tight end at West Virginia University. He has coached youth sports in football and basketball throughout the DMV. He created a basketball AAU organization in the Loudoun County area and has participated in numerous camps and training.
